Attention World Citizens:

As some of you may recall from the Internet and/or rumors in the Scandinavian press, I have recently started a podcast. It is called Dave Hill’s Podcasting Incident and- as you can probably imagine- it is pretty much the greatest podcast of all-time, full of bold insights, arguments, observations, light chit chat, occasional dead air, and about 500 other things that most people can’t even handle. In the current episode, which is the 9th episode as those of you who have followed my career from the very beginning are well aware, I sit down for a delightful conversation with Ira Glass, host of the popular public radio program This American Life and the Hudson Valley skeet shooting champion for three years running now. It was a great thrill for both of us and- over the course of the seriously long time we spend talking with each other- Ira and I discuss topics including but not limited to the possible effects his new beard might have on his speaking voice, his recreational beverage of choice, whether or not he looks like Rachel Maddow, dating a Playboy magazine employee, vacationing in Nicaragua, life as a public radio celebrity, how he was supposed to let his dog out 20 minutes ago, and other matters of great importance. I also read aloud from my forthcoming memoirs at one point. In short, it pretty much has everything. I encourage you and those you hold dear to listen to it right now here. Or you could just go to iTunes and listen and subscribe to it there by going here (and you should). Really, there’s a lot of ways to play this one, like in the player below for example. I hope you enjoy it so much. Life is short, time is fleeting, and most of us will never get the hair right no matter how hard we try. So live, dammit, live and- if possible- try to have some snacks on hand for visitors. People love that sort of thing.

Love and about 500 other things most people can’t even handle,
Dave Hill
