Yesterday, I walked over to the offices of the Huffington Post here in New York City all by myself to be a guest on HuffPost Live’s Midweek Cocktail Chatter with Josh Zepps, a show on which we discussed important matters of the day and then a couple of things that I knew stuff about, too. Last night, my band Valley Lodge and I had the pleasure of appearing on the excellent Artie Lange Show. I sat down and talked with Artie and his co-host Jon Ritchie about various important topics and then later in the show Valley Lodge played a couple songs and then chatted with Artie and Jon about rocking and whatnot. A while back, I went over to the secret New York office’s of Adultswim.com, the Internet portal of Adult Swim (as hinted at in the name) to sit down for one of the Think Tank sessions where they ask questions of great importance with people like me and other really, really big celebrities. It was really fun and I think you’ll really learn a lot from it. You can watch it repeatedly above (or if that doesn’t work, just go here. Also, I did my own hair that day and I really think people took a notice.

After a mysterious and inexplicably long summer hiatus, Dave Hill’s Podcasting Including is back like a mofo with Episode 77. Have a change of pants at the ready as I sit down with actress Nadia Dajani (Caught Off Base, Delocated, Sex and the City, the West Wing, King of Queens, and much, much more) and discuss topics including but not limited to cronuts, staying at baseball’s Ron Guidry’s house, the importance of manners and punctuality, Hollywood a-holes, her excellent baseball-based web series Caught Off Base, that nutjob Jose Canseco, Todd Barry, and about 500 other things most people cant’ handle. Recently, I had the pleasure of totally going to over to Har Mar Superstar‘s Brooklyn lair to be on an episode of his excellent Nocturnal Emotions podast. We talked about wrestling, Michael Jackson, cronuts, a dog named Butter and other hot button topics and I had a really nice time. Listen repeatedly here. Also, get Har Mar’s latest album Bye Bye 17. My friend Tony was riding public transportation recently when he snapped the above picture of me, living my life in an alternate universe as an older Asian woman. Where was I going? What was I going to do when I got there? Sometimes I think I’d be happier as an older Asian woman. I mean, don’t get me wrong, this life is pretty good too, but she seems just great.

Julie and Ted are both schooled culinary types and know so much about delicious food it’s actually kind of weird.
