Hi. It’s Dave again. Anyway, I had the great thrill of performing this past weekend on Live from Here with Chris Thile at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Washington along with Ben Folds, Wye Oak, Tom Papa, Gaby Moreno, and a bunch of other fine folks. It was a super blast and there were snacks and everything. You can watch my set above or listen to the whole episode here. And, if your on-the-go lifestyle precludes you from listening to the whole show, you can skip ahead to my segments if you want. I mean, I’m not suggesting that- I’m just pointing it out because I can’t believe the technology exists. The future is now!
Have an unstoppable day,
Dave Hill

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting at an undisclosed location to test out the new Earthquaker Devices Pyramids flanger pedal before almost anyone else on earth knew it even existed. You can watch the whole thing about, including a cameo from the great Matt Sweeney, above. Also, I have my very own artist page on the EQD site now. Take that, everyone from high school!
Love,
Dave Hill

Isn’t rock the best?! Anyway, my hot rock band Valley Lodge has another new single out for your listening pleasure today. This one is called “Stars Won’t Fall” and it comes with the shiny new b-side “It’s Alright.” You can get them on iTunes or wherever digital music is sold (pretty much, you know, within reason). I hope you enjoy the new jams so much. Full album is done and coming soon! Take that, Cardi B!
Yours in hot rock,
Dave Hill

As rumored on the Internet, I am starring in a hilarious new movie about an aging, washed up boy banc called Boy Band along with my buddies Steve Agee, Jordan Carlos, Seth Herzog, Dave Gruber Alan, and a ton of other fine folks. The Onion’s AV Club just debuted the trailer for the trailer for the movie and you can watch it there and get the full scoop. Or, if you’re on-the-go lifestyle prohibits you from going to another website, you can watch the trailer above. I am on your side. You got this, gorgeous!
Have an unstoppable day,
Dave Hill (from show business)

Dave Hill- Actor's Reel from Dave Hill Explosion on Vimeo.
As many of you who have been following my career from the very beginning are well aware, I am one of the greatest thespians of all-time. In keeping with that, I now have a new “acting reel” showcasing some of my most spine-tingling appearances in films and television programs, including such stuff as Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Tick, Inside Amy Schumer, and then a bunch of stuff besides that stuff. Anyway, you can watch it above. I hope you enjoy it so much. And if someone could text this link to Scorsese or something that would be great. I thank you for your time.
And scene,
Dave Hill

As hinted at in the subject line, WFMU, the home of my global radio assault known as the Goddamn Dave Hill Show, has kicked off its annual fundraising marathon. The station, as you probably know, is an independent, free-form, not-for-profit radio station that relies entirely on listener donations to stay on the air and in your hearts. There are no government grants, corporate interests, or mysterious mustachioed svengalis with complicated hair keeping the whole thing afloat as part of some nefarious plan, which is why I now ask you, dear reader (and hopefully also a listener) to do what you can to support WFMU, the greatest station in the land, and the Goddamn Dave Hill Show, the show I do for free every week whether I am emotionally qualified or not. You can help you by donating here. There are all sorts of incredible gifts and prizes you can get depending on how much you are up for giving, including my gravity-defying DJ premium for this year, a set of three 3-inch embroidered patches designed by one of my all-time favorite artists, Danny Hellman, and inspired the show, including a patch for my prison gang the Ramen Gang and a patch for GDDHS show MVP caller and legend YngDave. These patches are pictured above and will look great on anything and everything and will probably get you laid or at least invited to brunch somewhere. So enough reading, more donating! Thank you for being a force of good in this world. I find you every attractive.
Love,
Dave Hill

I’m excited to tell you that the self-titled debut album by my new band Painted Doll (me and my buddy Chris Reifert from Autopsy, Death, Violation Wound, etc.) is out now on Tee Pee Records. Rolling Stone says “This brief, beautifully recorded set drips with a sensuous, and vaguely sinister, aura.” And the legendary Fenriz from Darkthrone calls the album his “favorite of 2018 so far” on the latest episode of his excellent Radio Fenriz show. Not too shabby. You can get vinyl and CD copies here or at your favorite record store. Get the digital version on iTunes or here. If you want a T-shirt, we’ve got those too, right here. And excellent animation above by Mr. McCheese!
Rock,
Dave Hill

Hey. It’s Dave again. As mentioned previously on this popular website, I have a new band with my buddy Chris Reifert (Autopsy, Death, etc.) called Painted Doll. Our self-titled debut album will be out on the awesome Tee Pee Records on February. Get it because it’s a scorcher. You can watch our debut video for the first track on the album, “Together Alone,” directed by Nick Gomez, above. Make all your friends watch it too or my feelings will be hurt.
Rock,
Dave Hill

Hi. It’s Dave again. Recently, I went down into the basement of City Winery in New York and performed a handful of songs by my band Valley Lodge in a rare solo performance with just me and my guitar. I hope you enjoy it so much.
Still street,

Oh, man, have I gotten horrible at making updates to my popular website. I am going to try and do better. And in keeping with that, I am excited to tell you that the new/4th album by my band Valley Lodge (Our song “Go” is the theme song to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO. So there) is totally done and coming out soon. You can crank up one of the songs from the album, “Stand,” by clicking on the player above or by going here. Really, it’s your choice. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it so much.
Hugs,
Dave Hill
