Exclaim!, the popular comedy-based website, recently did a list of “Top 10 Hilariously Good Comedy Moments” for 2015 and my debut comedy album Let Me Turn You On is totally on it and I am super psyched. Among other things, they say nice things like “his is a strange, cool world to live in.” You can read the whole thing right here. I’m thrilled to be in such good company. Oh, and if you feel like picking up a copy of the album for yourself or someone you would like to get with, you can get it on iTunes or on the AST Records site.
I should have written this in third person,
Dave Hill

Hi. It’s Dave again. Recently, I shot a video with football great Eddie George for Funny or Die, the popular website on the Internet. I hope you enjoy it so much. Watch it repeatedly above. Still street, Dave Hill

Hello. This is your man Dave Hill with a seriously important announcement. On May 10, 2016, my second collection of essays, Dave Hill Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, will be released on an unsuspecting public by Blue Rider Press, the popular book company. The cover is not done yet, which is why I have featured a photo of myself, totally hanging out and up for good times, at the top of this post rather than a photo of the book cover or anything. But that will come soon. Trust me. I just know it. Anyway, I strongly recommend/beg you pre-order the book now from your favorite book supplier or just click here and order like the wind. That would be so great. And if you don’t totally enjoy my new book, you can kick me in the privates. How is that for standing by my work? Yeah, I know, pretty great. Thank you for noticing.
Still street,
Dave Hill

Hi there. As hinted at in the title of this post, I wrote a review of the new Danzig album Skeletons for the Talkhouse. You can and should read it here. I hope you enjoy it so much.

Hi. It’s Dave again. Recently, I sat down (in a chair) with Sean McCarthy (We were in different chairs) to be a guest on Sean McCarthy’s (The Comic’s Comic) new podcast Last Things First. It was a lot of fun and at one point I even picked up a guitar and showed Sean how to play the opening riff to “Go”, the theme song for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver by my hot rock band Valley Lodge. I have never done this for any other human being ever, not even the guys in my band or even myself! You can watch this hot clip above. And you can listen to the podcast here. Do it. It’s intentionally short for people with on-the-go lifestyles, which is good news for a modern world.
Love,
Dave Hill

A couple days ago, I sat down to interview the stars of the popular new film The Intern, Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway, Adam Devine, and and Andrew Rannells. It was really fun and I got lots of free snacks. Watch some of the highlights above. Fun!
Still street,
Dave Hill

Recently, I wrote a piece for the Paris Review about the time I wrote ringtones (a popular cell phone thing years ago) for Donald Trump. This is a true story and I’ve got the doll to prove it. You can read it here.

Recently, I sat down in palatial home with Mark Seman from the Laugh Button to talk about all sorts of important stuff. You can listen right here. And when you’re done with that, you can read an interview with me at First Order Historians here. If you do both of these things, you will have taken at least two of your senses on a real thrill ride. After that, maybe get a snack or something and that should about it cover it.
Thanks!
Dave Hill

Hi. Recently, I sat down with show business’ George Flanagan for an episode of his web show Spit Take Comedy and had a super fun time. If you’re on-the-go lifestyle precludes you from watching the whole episode, you can watch a short version of my segment above and then just get out there and start living. I hope you enjoy it so much.
Love,
Dave Hill

As you probably couldn’t help but notice, in the past couple weeks there has been a media blitz on me almost as big as that one about how that surfer kicked that shark, which I totally admit was nuts. Among the many nice articles and interviews with me, Dave Hill, are this one from the Boston Globe, this one from Paste Magazine, this one from Cleveland Scene Magazine, this one from DC’s District Feed, and, um, okay, that might be it for now. Anyway, I figured I might as well put links to everything here on the off chance that you are as obsessed with me as I seem to be. Happy reading!
Love,
Dave Hill
