Attention People of New York City:

Hi. It’s Dave, Dave Hill, again. From before. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that this Thursday, March 11 at 8pm, I will once again be showing whoever shows up at the reputable Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre what it means to love again by performing my incredible one-man show/monologue/rock assault “Big in Japan,” which- as long as we’re on the topic- was recently nominated for an ECNY Award for Best One-Person Show. I am the one person. If you have ever wanted to spend an hour in a dark, damp basement with me as I talk, bring some rock heat on the guitar, and pretty much just hand everyone their asses for up to but no longer than an hour straight, you could do a lot worse than to come to this show. There are not many times in my life when I don’t want to be me, but this Thursday is totally one of those times because if I were not me I could totally come see my show from the audience just like a regular person, which would be really nice because my show is pretty much the greatest thing that has ever happened in North America. I just checked. I can’t really go into too much more detail right now because this new community service program I have been assigned to limits my computer access to only as long as the park ranger is at lunch and also he is a major a-hole who seems drunk but whatever. Anyway, I really hope you can come to my show. That would be so nice. You can get tickets right here.

Love,
Dave Hill

Incredible Interviews with Me, Dave Hill
Posted on 3rd March 2010

Being an extremely important public figure and all, people are often wanting to interview me so that I might share my thoughts on various topics with them and the rest of the world, including parts of Canada. It would be impossible to list all of them here, but I wanted to share with you a few of them so that my voice and words might eat up a part of your day.

The most recent of these interviews is the one I did with John Frusciante and Will Hines for the UCBT Podcast. You can find this by searching “UCBT Podcast” on iTunes and then listening to the one with my name (Dave Hill) on it or by just going here. I hope you enjoy it a whole bunch. We talk about all sorts of things and I’m pretty sure I don’t swear the whole time, so crank it up at the workplace.

Another interview of note is the one I did with excellent DC comedian Eli Sairs on the popular Brightest Young Things website in hot anticipation of my show this past weekend at 3 Chord Comedy at the Velvet Lounge in DC. The show was super packed and super fun and I am totally giving the credit for that to this interview (and also to the fact that I am really famous and the Washington Post ran a nice preview of the show too, because I am really famous). You can read my BYT interview here. And you should. I mean, you know, if you want.

And finally- I may have posted this here before already but it bears repeating (and reposting). When I was London in January, I did a lovely interview with the lovely Marsha Shandur for her “Marsha Meets…” series on XFM radio, the popular radio channel. You can listen to that right here. Marsha and I both have really cool accents so I think you’ll get a real big kick out of here us both talking with them.

Okay, that’s pretty much it for right now. Why not watch this Dokken video? They nailed it (and no, I’m not being ironic. They really did nail it).
