Hello. Hi. How are you? I am fine, a little groggy, but fine, thanks. Anyway, as some of you might recall, I recently wrote a post about the elusive and dearly departed coffee alternative Postum (pictured above in its lesser-known, French Canadian form) 
In other news, my cousin Meredith sent me this article about a mini-muscleman, which of course got me thinking that sometimes in life you don’t have to “make your own Postum” in order to “make your own Postum.”
Now, go forward and make a difference out there, dammit!

Hi there. How are you? I am pretty good for the most part. Thanks for asking. It is Saturday and I am pretty much ready to get into some serious, serious call-the-cops style partying. Like, for real. Good thing I have health insurance because I’m gonna need it. And so will everyone around me.
Anyway, here is an interesting blog by Andy Juett about comedy and whatnot that is made all the more interesting by the fact that it “namechecks” me, Dave Hill. I’m a sucker for that sort of thing.
In other reading, check out this article written by my cousin Meredith for the Daily News about using the popular dating/date rape website crazyblinddate.com. Apparently you can go on the site and end up having a drink with a total stranger in a matter of minutes. The future is now!
In still other Internet funtime reading, here is a nice review of my friend Tig Notaro’s new show at Largo in L.A. that I did this past Monday.
And finally, in other news that requires no reading of things that I am shamelessly plugging because they mention me or are written by my cousin, I wanted to mention that the next Dave Hill Explosion show in New York will be on February 21st and will feature the lovely and incredible Amy Sedaris as the special guest. I am excited about it, dammit. You can reserve tickets here. I mean, hey, why not?

As many of you may already be aware, today is the last day of New York Fashion Week, a time when fashionistas from all over the world gather to judge the latest designs and each other. I hesitantly decided to skip Fashion Week this time around in silent protest of the complete absence of coolots from any of this season’s collections. But to keep the spirit alive anyway, I’ve decided to shamelessly repost my world famous (um, not really) Fashion Week videos for your enjoyment. The one above is the first one I ever did and the two below are from the two Fashion Week’s after that. Please watch them all now or Lagerfeld wins, dammit.

As of this writing, the video above has been viewed 94,676 times on YouTube. 94,438 of those times were by me. Pure gold. They really swing for the fences over there in Asia. Kudos to them.
