Hi. It’s Dave. From before. I was just writing to remind you that my new book The Awesome Game: One Man’s Incredible, Globe-Crushing Hockey Odyssey will be out next month, October 24 in the US (via Triumph Books) and October 17 in the rest of the world (via Penguin Random House/Doubleday Canada- one week early to monitor possible side effects.) I encourage/beg you to pre-order it here (US) or here (rest of the world). Also, in the event that you are anywhere near New York City, there will be a book launch party November 1 at Powerhouse Arena in Brooklyn, where I’ll be chatting about the book with my buddy Mike Sacks, signing books, drinking stuff, and generally having a lovely time.
