This American Explosion + Rumpus Interview with Me, Dave Hill
Hello there. I just had a delightful breakfast with the world-renowned photographer Beowulf Sheehan and he gave me a bunch of photos from my recent Dave Hill Explosion show with special guests Ira Glass, host of the popular “This American Life” radio program, and Takka Takka. Above is one of my favorites of the bunch. I will post more when I get around to it, dammit.
And speaking of This American Life, here is the video David Rakoff and I made for the “This American Life- Live!” show. As rumored on the Internet and also discussed in detail with Ira on my show, this video was actually cut in the end from the live show. I think I posted it here before from Vimeo, but I just uploaded it to my YouTube channel so I figured I’d slap this version up on my blog too. I mean, hey, why not? Am I right or am I right? I think this version might be slightly different from the Vimeo version too. Or it might be the same. I supposed I should watch both and come up with an answer on that one.

OK, this is really weird, because I have my own site called the Rumpus Room. Not to be confused with that site I am listing as my own here, which is something you should not click on and would never want to look at.

People must learn to eat moderately to effectively lose weight. It seems as if as the American population increases, so do our appetites. In the past, a simple, leafy sandwich with a glass of milk was enough to satisfy our hunger. Eating nutritional foods is necessary in order to successfully lose weight. This can be one of the worst things a person can do to his body. Although one exercises everyday of his life, one also has to eat healthy.

Wow, I know you are in pain! I had the same thing several years ago. My podiatrist did indeed recommend New Balance shoes. I ended up getting the model number 606. I don’t honestly know if that is the specific one for people suffering from plantar faciatis, but; the fellow at the New Balance store was very helpful and took a lot of time with me. The shoes did help me. Good luck.
